The 13th annual Grooming Splash event, organized by Grooming People for Better Livelihood Centre, has concluded with 386 winners, all of whom are women.

The reward scheme by Grooming is organized yearly to encourage and empower the lender’s customers to keep transacting with the company.

This year’s event on the 8th of June, despite economic challenges, demonstrated the organization’s commitment to empowering women and their families.

Dr. Godwin Nwabunka, the Chief Executive Officer while speaking at the Grooming Multipurpose Hall at Ejigbo Lagos State, spoke about the event’s impact. “Grooming Splash is our way of showing gratitude to our clients who have stood by us over the years. We are dedicated to ensuring their satisfaction,” he said.

The winners span across 32 states in Nigeria, showcasing the broad reach and inclusivity of the program. This year, technology played a significant role in ensuring transparency and fairness. The prizes awarded included 24 commercial tricycles, 58 large double-door refrigerators, 82 small double-door refrigerators, 58 5kVA generators, and 106 3kVA generators.

The event highlighted Grooming’s mission to empower women, reinforcing their commitment to supporting and uplifting their clients. “386 winners are women, whom we believe will in turn empower their families,” noted Dr. Nwabunka.

Dr. Nwabunka urged the winners to use their prizes to enhance their businesses. “Those who have won the generators will find them helpful in powering their businesses,” he said.

Alexander Enyinnah, the Executive Director of Programs, emphasized the event’s purpose. “This is the 13th edition of Grooming Splash, designed to strengthen our bond with clients and enhance brand loyalty. Over the years, our projects have required substantial investments, and we are thankful for the consistent support despite economic challenges,” he explained.

One of the winners, Abosede Ojigudu, expressed her gratitude. “Grooming has continually impacted our businesses positively and provided financial assistance. May God bless them, and may the company continue to progress and grow,” she said.

Another winner, Aminat Iyabo Ibrahim, who received a commercial tricycle, shared her joy. “I am happy for what Grooming is doing. I am happy that I have always been paying back my loan from them. I am advising others that Grooming is good,” she stated.

As the event drew to a close, the atmosphere was one of celebration and hope. The winners, their families, and the organizers looked forward to a future of continued growth and success.
