Ndaliman observed that the initiative taken by the lawmaker, which involves investing in human development, especially the school teachers would go a long way in tackling the challenges of science education at the secondary school level in the area.

On the outcome of the programme, Ndaliman said he was optimistic that after the one-week training, the beneficiaries would have learnt a lot of skills which will position them to make a difference in their respective schools.

He disclosed that the institute (SEDI) is expected to supply science equipment kits to various schools, adding that the teachers would be trained on how to utilize them to impart knowledge to the students.

Ndaliman also disclosed that a House of Representatives member representing Paikoro Federal Constituency, and his counterpart from Lapai/Agaie Federal Constituency, had previously facilitated similar training for their constituency.

According to him, “over the years, the institute has embarked on the massive infrastructural development such as I C T centre with a sitting capacity of over 300, and skill acquisition centre among others, adding that all were at 95% completion,”

The Managing Director of the institute who applauded the gesture of the lawmakers, enjoined other stakeholders to emulate them in order to improve the welfare of the people.
