The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has assured Nigerians of his readiness to engage issues with critical thinking and action, maintaining that the country hasn’t failed.
Tinubu who arrived Abuja on Thursday after his 14 days trip to the United Kingdom, encouraged Nigerians not to resort to despair over the situation of things in the country, saying “Nigeria hasn’t failed, Nigeria is the best, I’m the help Nigeria needs.”
Join our WhatsApp ChannelThe APC presidential flag bearer was warmly received by his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima, other top party stalwarts and a crowd of other supporters who were hailing him as he disembarked from the aircraft that conveyed him back to the country.
Speaking to the newsmen, about his trip, the former governor of Lagos said “The trip was very good, I enjoyed my break. I’m happy to be back to my fatherland.”

While he was away, there were rumours that his health had deteriorated and he may not be able to bear the rigours of campaigns which just started last week.
On Sunday, a video was tweeted of him cycling for exercise, to show that he is healthy and ready for the task ahead.
“Nigerians should expect an intelligent – ability to think and perform. Nigerians should expect that the help they need is here. The hope that is almost jittering is back.
“I’m back actively back to the country of patriotism, dedication, capacity – not the fact that Nigerian has failed. This country, this continent is the greatest of all. If it is an assurance that we need, we will definitely make a better country out of it all,” Tinubu said on his arrival.
Twenty four hours after, the APC presidential candidate in the company of his running mate, Sen. Shettima, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, and others, went to inspect the party presidential campaign office in Abuja on Friday afternoon after Jumat prayer.
Others in the delegation were Kano State Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje and Nuhu Ribadu, the pioneer Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
